Ingredients
    Chocolate Layer:
  • 200 g dark chocolate (about 70% cocoa)
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional)
  • Mascarpone Cream Layer:
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Garnish (optional):
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
    Make the Chocolate Layer:
  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave (in 30-second intervals).
  2. Allow the chocolate to cool slightly.
  3. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar (if using) until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Prepare the Mascarpone Cream:
  6. Beat the mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  9. Assemble:
  10. Layer the chocolate cream in 8 oz serving glasses.

  11. Add layer of the mascarpone cream.
  12. Add another chocolate cream layer on top.
  13. Smooth each layer with a spatula for an elegant presentation.
  14. Garnish:
  15. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
  16. Add chocolate shavings for decoration.
  17. Optionally, garnish with a fresh mint leaf.
  18. Chill:
  19. Refrigerate the desserts for at least 4 hours before serving to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld.
