Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Lemon slices and basil sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Prepare the Herb Infusion:

    In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup water, honey (or agave syrup), and 1/2 cup basil leaves. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until the honey dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool completely. Strain to remove the basil leaves and set aside the infused syrup.

  2. Mix the Mocktail Base:

    In a pitcher or mixing glass, muddle the mint leaves and remaining basil leaves with the lemon juice until aromatic.

  3. Combine Ingredients:

    Add the infused syrup to the muddled mixture. Stir well. Fill glasses halfway with ice and divide the mixture among them.

  4. Top with Sparkle:

    Pour sparkling water over the mocktail base in each glass. Stir gently to combine.

  5. Garnish and Serve:

    Garnish with lemon slices, a sprig of basil, and extra mint leaves for a fresh and vibrant presentation. Serve immediately.
